Product Manager

Product Manager

The Product Manager will be responsible for working with internal teams to build products that fill gaps in market and increase customer satisfaction. Primary responsibilities include gathering and documenting product requirements, prioritizing feature implementations and ensuring all product initiatives are executed in line with the vision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work closely with VP of Product & Service to gain a complete understanding of the product vision, direction and needs. Promote the vision throughout the company to ensure Development, Sales, Service and Marketing efforts align with the vision
  • Create and maintain product documentation. Define requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for product functions and features.
  • Fill product owner role in Agile/Scrum processes.
  • Coordinate and lead internal teams through the design, development and testing of new product releases.
  • Balance business objectives and customer needs, reconciling the goals of the business with benefits to the customer.
  • Become the product’s “go to” resource for other internal teams.
  • Gather product requirements, prioritize feature implementations and improve overall user experience.
  • Measure adoption, usage data, and business results from product launches. Gather user feedback and establish internal feedback loops.
  • Suggest product enhancements to improve user experience. Analyze ideas and bring recommendations to leadership for prioritization.
  • Oversee implementation and release workflow and deadlines. Hold regular project reviews with Development and QA teams ensuring that the product will meet business requirements. Perform quality assurance controls on products.
  • Work with line-of-business leaders to validate concepts, themes, vision, and prototypes.
  • Develop and maintain success measurements (KPIs).
  • Clearly and continuously communicate the status of projects on the product roadmap and in development.
  • Draft release notes for launches.

What you need:

  • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) product
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong organizational/project management skills
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and strategic planning skills
  • Demonstrated experience creating effective business level product documentation
  • Ability to work well with upper management and articulate views and business necessity of product
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to effectively work with cross functional teams
  • Self-starter who doesn’t need daily direction
  • Inquisitive – willing to ask questions and seek out resolutions
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and complete the projects by deadlines
  • Internal and external customer focus. Thrive on spending time with customers to understand their problems and working with internal technical teams to develop innovative solutions.
  • Ability to travel as position requires

Director of Marketing

The Director of Marketing is responsible for planning and implementing marketing and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets by performing the following independently or through assigned staff.

What you will do:
  • Develops the marketing strategy for new and existing services and products to achieve company objectives.
  • Provides leadership to assigned staff. Responsible for staff hiring, training, goal setting, and performance feedback as well as managing workloads, schedules and deadlines.
  • Develops and manages marketing costs and budgets.
  • Develops and executes comprehensive advertising media plan; establishes and maintains relationships with media vendors.
  • Oversees the implementation of the Marketing strategy - including campaigns (print, online, direct mail), event attendance, digital marketing, and public relations.
  • Establishes and ensures consistent branding throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
  • Works closely with the company’s Business Development and Sales team; enabling them to meet their objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations.
  • Works closely with product management team to define marketing materials and programs.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
  • Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions. Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
  • Regularly communicates marketing initiatives and reports results to executive leadership
  • Manages agency providers, consultants, freelancers and other suppliers, including contract negotiation and management.
  • Oversees the company’s website or email marketing program and provide analytics review.
  • Determines company presence at conventions, annual meetings, trade associations, and seminars.
  • Provides short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
  • Conducts customer, brand and product research initiatives.

What you should have:

  • Five + (5) years of proven marketing leadership experience, including development of marketing strategic plan
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities; strategic thinker
  • Thorough knowledge of web analytics

Account Executive - SaaS Sales

We are seeking an experienced, energetic self-starter, who is driven to increase our customer base through the acquisition of new business and achieve revenue goals. If you are a hunter who holds yourself accountable to a consistent sales process - then we want to talk to you!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify revenue opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, emails and relationship building and other activities as needed
  • Prospect, qualify and generate sales to achieve monthly/quarterly sales quotas
  • Research and contact prospects to identify key contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline
  • Engage prospects through consultative sales practices and programs identified by Sales Management
  • Identify and close additional purchases of products and services
  • Work closely with Customer Services and Business Development
  • Engage in technical discussions with potential clients through demonstrations and presentations
  • Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments in Bestpass scope of business
  • Keep management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports as required
  • Be knowledgeable on Bestpass products and services as well as customer needs and requirements
  • Team with other associated sources where opportunity may exist to build pipeline
  • Attend tradeshows and conferences as needed

Requirements:

  • Possess at least 2-3 years of overall sales experience with a verifiable track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • SaaS sales experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Persistence
  • Technology expertise: CRM systems (Freshsales a +), MS Office products
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in team environment
  • Ability to travel +/- 20%

Sales Development Representative

The Sales Development Representative’s (SDR) primary role will be to set up appointments and find potential clients for our sales team. This role is the first step in the prospecting process, and the Bestpass sales team relies on known and creative methods of finding potential customers.

This role will require the intuitive ability to comprehend and navigate through different company organizational structures and roles, to find the key decision makers. The position will develop a solid understanding of the sales pipeline and sales funnel management, with the aim to provide a consistent flow of sales-ready leads.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate qualified tele-sales leads
  • Prospect various types of fleet/trucking/transportation organization to unearth Decision Makers and Influencers
  • Identify prospects who are interested in engaging with Bestpass sales representatives via phone or face-to-face to discuss a possible purchase
  • Input accurate information into CRM database (company name and decision maker names, contact information and standard demographics) in order to properly initiate contact for Inside Sales Representative appointments
  • Meet or exceed daily/weekly, monthly and quarterly lead generation performance targets
  • Meet and exceed established contact and appointment goals each day / week / month
  • Qualify, prioritize, and assign inbound/ outbound telephone, email, and internet leads
  • Proactively and responsively perform calling and emailing activities with minimal oversight
  • Respond to ad hoc content and support requests from sales team
  • Assist on sales calls and demos as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year or more of sales experience
  • Excellent customer service; common sense with great people skills
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Must be able to work successfully independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in written form
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Excellent presentation skills
